Position requires candidate to coordinate and manage the efforts of advertising projects (primarily print) from production, photography, proofreading and creative through to prepress. The Account Coordinator is responsible for coordination of both client and off-site agency account team.

Position requires candidate to coordinate and manage the efforts of advertising projects (primarily print) from production, photography, proofreading and creative through to prepress. The Account Coordinator is responsible for coordination of both client and off-site agency account team. If you’re interested in a career in corporate marketing, this is a great career-starter.

What You Need:

Overall responsibilities include:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent. Business or marketing degree preferred

  • 3-4 years experience in corporate marketing and/or print production

  • Solid print and digital production knowledge

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite

  • Mac experience helpful

Travel as required by supervisor but typically minimal.

 

Reports To:  Account Director

What You Would Do:

  • Manage timelines of print circulars, FSI’s and other ad events

  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Interact with client managers, agency account, creative and production teams and outside vendors such as printers and photographers to insure timely completion of projects

  • Knowledge of print ad production

  • Newspaper, FSI, and/or ad circular experience preferred

Because this position is located at our client’s HQ, the Account Coordinator should be mature and career oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment with the following:

  • Superior organization skills. Multi-tasking skills essential.

  • Ability to set and prioritize goals and achieve them as scheduled.

  • Ability to act on own initiative, at times with limited supervision.

  • Demonstrates the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines.

  • Desire to learn, willingness to do menial tasks and take on more complex challenges.

  • Ability and willingness to seek suggestions from peers and employees.

  • Demonstrate the ability and willingness to build and maintain positive relationships quickly.

  • Comfortable and confident interacting with VP and Director level managers with a willingness to work together with peers to improve quality and performance.
