NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 2010) – BOHAN Advertising | Marketing has opened a Knoxville office, its first outside of Nashville, with four employees and four accounts.

The accounts are AAA of East Tennessee and Home Federal Bank in Knoxville, SuperPetz in Hatfield, Pa., and Brunswick Commercial and Government Products in Edgewater, Fla.

BOHAN was created in 1990. Its first client, which still is on its roster, was the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism. The 55-employee firm has major clients in tourism/hospitality, health care and consumer goods.

Among them are HCA, The Greenbrier, Beaches of South Walton in Florida, Ochsner Health System in Louisiana, Fazoli’s, United Methodist Communications, Stoney River Legendary Steaks and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville.

“We are very accustomed to working with clients in other cities, but usually only one per city,” said David Bohan, chairman and chief executive officer.  “Our opportunity in Knoxville is with multiple clients, which warrants opening an office.”

BOHAN’s Knoxville office is at 200 Prosperity Drive.  Its employees are

+ Shari Day, general manager
+ Farley Day, account supervisor
+ April Timko, project manager
+ Bridget McCulley, project manager

“Our new employees are solid advertising and marketing professionals, and they have great relationships with our new clients. As a University of Tennessee alumnus, I can say wholeheartedly that it’s great to be part of the Knoxville community,” said Bohan, the only Tennessean ever named to the national board of the American Association of Advertising Agencies.

BOHAN is a leader in the Tennessee advertising industry.  It has won Emmy Awards for six years in a row, including two this year for Fazoli’s and United Methodist Communications.

Agency information is online at www.BohanIdeas.com.
