Who We Are

BOHAN is one of the Southeast's most awarded, fully integrated advertising and entrepreneurial marketing services agency located in Nashville, Tennessee.  We follow a consumer-based approach to advertising, marketing and brand building, allowing us to offer an array of products and services to a diverse clientele.  We work with clients who operate in a number of different industries, ranging from health care organizations, hotels and educational institutions to restaurants, retail and arts and entertainment.  Our first client is still on the client roster today, nearly three decades later, a testimony to great work and an agency-client relationship that's the envy of the industry.

The experience that we have gained from operating since 1990 makes us well placed to understand our client's needs and subsequently deliver successful advertising and marketing solutions.

Digital Supervisor

Who You Are:

We're looking for an experienced Digital Supervisor.  You're potentially the right fit if you're organized, efficient, and proactive and are rewarded by being part of a team that consistently provides creative and effective marketing solutions. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be skilled in working with diverse groups of people.  You would be a key day-to-day manager and help assist the Associated Digital Director with the client's digital business.  This includes helping plan, coordinate and direct all digital advertising campaigns for this account.  Experience needed in planning and buying of display, online video, mobile and paid search. You will be responsible for developing presentations, solving problems, analyzing research and anything else required in making the client and agency successful.

What You Would Do:

  • Work directly with the Associate Engagement Director to help maintain ultimate accountability for the quality, strategy, and integrity of all media plans/strategies/services delivered to clients, resulting in the cultivation of client loyalty and retention.   
  • Continually seek a consumer-centric view in all strategic thinking.
  • Provide POVs on various digital media efforts in the marketplace.
  • Be the agency's on-the-ground information source, attending meetings on behalf of the agency and client and reporting back to both.
  • Intimately understand the client's business, industry and competition, and leverage that knowledge to help generate new ideas to strategically grow their business.
  • Inspire while leading by example in developing, motivating, mentoring, and coaching team members.
  • Effectively interact with clients in a way that positively impacts the agency

What You Need:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in working in an agency environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Complete knowledge of all aspects of Digital Media, Paid Search, SEO, Mobile, etc.
  • Solid understanding of interactive research tools such as Ad Relevance, ComScore, AdWords and Google Analytics.
  • Experience in tag management including floodlight tracking.
  • Spot broadcast buying experience is a plus.
  • Obtain a strong and broad analytical skill set and critical thinking for site/campaign optimization.
  • Background in measurement and analysis of multichannel and integrated marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage, prioritize and report on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, organizational, writing, listening and comprehension skills.
  • Paid social experience is a plus.
  • Experience utilizing a reporting dashboard tool such as Tableau or Domo is preferred.
  • Ability to translate insights into strategy and creative platform and then pull through tactics.
  • Confident, self-starter and leader who can multi-task.
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel communication trends with an expertise in database and digital marketing.
  • Fluent in digital mathematical concepts with an ability to translate data into well-articulated ideas.

Production Assistant

Who You Are:

Position requires candidate to coordinate the efforts of retail advertising projects from concept, photography, proofreading and creative through to prepress or final edit.  Candidate is responsible for coordination of both client and off-site agency creative team. Position is located at client HQ in Nashville.

What You Would Do:

  • Photo coordination/scheduling
  • Manage the schedules of two photographers
  • Video shoot coordination in conjunction with photo shoots
  • Basic knowledge of casting, wardrobe, stylist set ups
  • Be creative thinker of photo and video concepts
  • Coordinate and manage client products to be photographed
  • Naming and coordination of photos to be used/cataloged by creative team
  • Gain knowledge and be the go-to for product photography naming, descriptions and usage of extremely large asset bank
  • Work with external vendors to obtain best/current photography for client advertising usage

The Production Assistant must be mature and career oriented with the ability to work in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment with the following:

  • Ability to handle many issues, items and functions at one time and deal rapidly with these in a prioritized sequence.
  • Superior organization and multi-tasking skills essential.
  • Ability to set and prioritize goals and achieve them as scheduled. Demonstrate flexibility to adjust to rapidly changing requirements.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to act on own initiative, at times with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines.
  • Desire to learn, willingness to do menial tasks and take on more complex challenges.
  • Ability and willingness to seek suggestions from peers and employees.
  • Demonstrate the ability and willingness to build and maintain positive relationships quickly.
  • Comfortable and confident interacting with VP and Director level managers with a willingness to work together with peers to improve quality and performance.

What You Need:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in corporate marketing or advertising agency
  • Ad traffic and/or film/print production assistant experience preferred
  • Retail industry experience and/or knowledge of retail helpful
